The Cashew Lamp

The Cashew Lamp by Jorge Suarez-Kilzi is an exceptional sculptural piece that embodies the essence of contemporary organic design. Inspired by the natural shapes of the cashew nut, this 35 to 55cm lamp demonstrates Kilzi's unique approach where each creation is a dialogue between the artist and the client. “Each Cashew Lamp is a conversation,” explains the designer. Made from fiberglass and organic materials, this lamp is handcrafted using artisanal techniques which guarantee the uniqueness of each piece. The smooth, organically curved surfaces create a subtle play of light and shadow, transforming the object into a light sculpture. The manufacturing process spans 8 to 16 weeks, allowing for complete customization. The Cashew Lamp explores the boundaries between art and functional design, inviting a contemplative experience of light.
