Chaque pièce est fabriquée à la main sur commande dans l'atelier d'Alter Ego Studio à Lisbonne. Les finitions bois, pierre et émail ainsi que les tissus et cuirs sont choisis parmi les collections du studio; de légères variations de teinte ou de veinage peuvent survenir d'une pièce à l'autre et témoignent du travail artisanal.

Natalia Komarova, founder of Alter Ego Studio, is a furniture designer with 10 years of experience in the creative industry. Ses débuts comme photographe et retoucheuse l'ont menée à explorer le design, remportant 12 prestigieux prix mondiaux, dont l'or de l'A'Design Award et de l'European Product Design Award. His work is based on the idea of creating "living" furniture, animated by the energy of life, with curves, spirals and movements that evoke dynamism. She seeks to capture the intense emotions generated by actions and reactions, ranging from a furtive glance to the force of the wind or waves.
