Eatnu represents the pinnacle of Hanna Heino's work on wall reliefs. This monumental work from 2022 (82x59x4cm) combines stoneware and porcelain in a metal frame, creating a composition of exceptional visual richness. The porcelain petals, a more delicate material than stoneware, provide a subtle translucence which dialogues with the opacity of the stoneware. Each element is meticulously sewn into the metal frame, the artist's signature technique that evokes both traditional sewing and contemporary sculptural assemblage. Eatnu's imposing scale allows the work to become an architectural focal point, transforming the wall into a living, textured surface. This unique piece cannot be ordered to measure, each example being the result of an intense creative process.
