SHIPPING POLICY
MADE-TO-ORDER PURCHASES
Production lead time is listed on each made-to-order item page and is displayed after size selection. Production of any part to order will begin upon receipt and confirmation of payment by our team.
Delivery and Dispatch
We aim to process all orders within 5 to 7 business days. Orders are neither shipped nor delivered on weekends and public holidays.
In case of high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional delivery time. If there is a significant delay in delivery of your order, we will contact you by email or telephone.
Shipping options and costs depend on the size of the package and its destination and will be displayed during checkout.
Unless a specific production time is stated on the page of a made-to-order item, delivery takes place no later than thirty (30) days after the contract is concluded. After that period, you may cancel the order and obtain a refund under the conditions of Article L.216-6 of the French Consumer Code.

FURNITURE (10 kg or more)
A personalized shipping quote will be provided upon request.
Please note that books and small items are currently shipped by DHL only.
Artworks and furniture may be shipped by specialist delivery services, at an additional cost. Our sales advisor will advise you of the available options on request.
All orders with a total value of less than €20,000 will be shipped by DHL and will be fully insured.
Orders worth more than €20,000 will be shipped by a specialist transport service and will also be fully insured.
Please note that all orders will require signed delivery.

EU and International Duties and Taxes
All items ordered for delivery outside the EU will be sold excluding VAT. This will be deducted from the price of the product at the time of payment and on the pages of the website once the delivery country has been selected. Non-EU deliveries are subject to local import taxes and duties, including to the UK. You are responsible for any customs duties and taxes charged by your destination country, in addition to the item price and shipping charges.
If import charges and taxes apply to your order, the carrier will contact you as soon as your items are in customs to notify you. Please note that this may delay delivery as payment of fees required to clear the goods through local authorities is the responsibility of the recipient. It is important to respond promptly to the carrier regarding payment of customs duties. In the event of non-payment on time, items will be returned to Maison Myel, which will incur additional charges for re-shipment.
